thankyou my friend! i will definitely take you up on that...itll be awhile till i make it to the west coast, but cannot wait to do so

@raul
>although pretty, as i suppose most of us addicted to gear will agree,
>it's too much for what i would consider a portable rig ...

thankfully i feel the sky is the limit, its a shame most people are condemned to 10ft ceilings-

@mark
>Of course we all wanna be able to jump on a plane and go to Santa Cruz (all but one at least) but sometimes I wonder... has the" market made the >product" again? I cant get PAID gigs in my city now... no bands are touring, no CD´s being sold.

i think im stuck in the 70's even though i wasnt born till the 80's- i feel music is meant to be toured...like a traveling circus...the nastalga of watching music be created infront of your eyes is more powerful then the best procuded of CD's-..i can imagine people riding horseback 100's of miles to catch a glimpse of motazrt in concert....the ability to say "i was there when axel rose caused a riot in st. louis!" is what its all about......  i believe pink floyd's wall album was toured for 2-3 years before they actually recorded the music to CD -
-thankyou for the rant and thankyou for the support

@ty
>What's that grey box up top on your right and the round guy on top of the drum kit? Are those cameras?

yeap, i have 5 cameras integrated into my rig which alows me to create a DVD for every show i play.....then run to merch....duplicate and sell it-
i feel its the best momento someone could take home from my show

@george
>How did you get the setup time down to 20 minutes? It looks like it would be a pain to wire up etc. I'm alway curious about what people do to >minimize their setup time...

looms and multipin connectors help drastically....plan...calculate..re-calculate....cut wires to length so that you dont have to guess what plugs into where....also color code EVERYTHING

@rainer

1. you got most of it.... add an alesis sr-18 for click, mixer is allan & heath, FMR RNC compressor, alesis i/o for drum triggers
and yeap...FBC1010 taken to a jigsaw.....plus a few magic black boxes....
2.ild rather massage my face with concrete- ;o) - allthough if i ever take the time to make one, ill be happy to send it to ya
3.ill try to include this when i post videos in a month or 2 - p.s. 2 CPU's...1 mac for video...1 pc for audio

close to 2 years in the making, its finally portable- with gear side of stage, it takes about 15-20min for setup, 10min for tear-down-
it weighs over 500lbs....
i should have videos up in another month or two-
should be touring the U.S. hopefully by December.......

~!~!~The Wandering Madman~!~!~!
