Re: ot.....mac question

Michael and all I was relooking at this earlier this morning and thinking okay he's still got Jaguar and there were changes from there to Tiger but totally outdated hw seems extreme not to debate Ted but I thought okay what about has he done his software updates or could he just be missing the admin login prompt for new installs.  Probably neither but from there I browsed the Adobe forums and found this which seems like it might be the solution and save you some quid as they say.

Here's what I found...

Re: FP9 for OSX 10.1-10.3 won't install on 10.3.9

Go to HD/Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder and delete "Flash Player.plugin" as well as "flashplayer.xpt".

Download dmg file from Adobe site and save to disc. Quit any browsers you have open. Double click on dmg file. that opens a folder which contains "Flash Player.plugin" and "flashplayer.xpt" ... drag both into the Internet Plug-Ins folder. Do a restart and you should be in business!

the actual link to the above is http://forums.adobe.com/thread/415443;jsessionid=3D5B36974427A92D43663CE464E9023D.node0?tstart=1

again I don't mean to kick sand in anyone's face and too I initially happily went about talking about finding a new machine anyhow Michael/Ted hope this might work out.  If you need further help navigating the above let me know.

Happy 4th and best
