Re: Kayla Kavanagh - live looping videos

Thank you both very much for your kind comments! I was performing as part of the annual Enterprise Festival at The Space, London. Not a very good venue as they didn't seem to understand why we couldn't "make do with two mono channels" rather than stereo and went through 3 desks before the sound worked!

The gig went well and it's in preparation for my return to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August. I am continuing to try to expand my looping into all the various instruments I use on stage (voice, keyboard, hammered dulcimer, guitar, electric violin, flute, tin whistle etc), which has been quite a challenge!

Thank you for getting in touch - comments always appreciated :)

Hi Kayla,
very interesting. Great to see that there are so many different ways of using
looping. From noisy stuff - just performed by Robert Zori and Sunao Inami in Japan -
to melodic tracks with mellow flute tunes performed by you.
What venue was it in London?
Nice day!
