Not anywhere near expertness, I have the KP 1 and KP 2, I get the  
feeling they function better as part of an fx send/return loop.
And depending on your set-up you may need to use a line level shifter  
of some sort to run the signal thru the KP at -10dbv then send it  
back out to the main chain at +4dbu.
