I get that sometimes,
wait long enough and your loop comes back.

Only answer is
"don't do exactly what you did to get that result"

..but as it's always a complex sequence to produce that bug,
I never worked out exactly how to do it. (or how not to)

Something to do with using Multiply and Overdub and Reverse then quickly 
doing Next.
...so the loop you just left hasn't had time to work out it's current 
memory position somehow.

wrecked my grande finale at Y2K5 :-)

If you give more details, I can help more, 
what 8th/Cycle?
It's just not syncing? or what.

Maybe try 8th/cycle=32
