Re: RC-50: NEW feature!! A/B switching (like boomerang)

Hi Mech

thanks for the kudos :-)

Also, with the "loop feedback" workaround, it took a while until people
picked it up.
So, I'll stay patient :-)

But honestly, this is even a better workaround.
I was just about to switch to computer based looping. Now, this will keep
me happy on the hardware side for a bit longer, because that's exactly how
I work:
a) start a rhythm loop on loop3
b) put PartA on Loop1
c) put PartB on Loop2
d) toggle between PartA/B

Set Loop1 to "main", Loop2 to "sub", Loop3 to "main+sub" - and use an A/B
footpedal to switch between the loops1/2. So simple!
I think this is what a lot of people waiting for a new "Boomerang" really
want.

Yes, it would be really great if Roland would implement suggestions. With
a "RC-50XL" Update, they could easily offer - besides SINGLE/MULTI - a
MIXED mode just doing this.
While we're at it, of course: loop feedback, real MIDI slave, decent tempo
tap...

Oh well.
Anyway, thanks for the Feedback, Mech. :-)
