Re: HOW MANY LOOPS DO YOU USE SIMLUTANEOUSLY?

reading what you guys out there do, my setup/looping structure seems kind of neanderthal:

i build a first "thingie" in the line 6 looper (could be a drone, a riff or a rhythm)
and then start the "long looper" (can be eh2880 or mobius with 4 tracks) to record a song structure,
usually a bass line first.

the loopers are in a chain, so my first loop gets recorded again and will be switched off after i close the long loop. then the short looper is free again to record something i will use in the outro later on.

for short appearances i have minimalized my set-up to the following chain:
an effect machine (right now digitech's vocal300)
volume pedal
the line6 looper
rc-2 as a long looper.
playing with batteries, the set-up is light and comfy.
and mono.

to fade out the rc-2 i use my foot - if the shoe has rubber soles, i can do crude fades by rubbing sideways along the phrase-volume knob...as i said earlier - neanderthal...

smooth looping - tilmann
