Slightly OT: "Guitar Hero" Kerfuffle

After last year's South Park episode and Slash's very-high-profile 
endorsement of both the game and Gibson guitars, I've got to ask what are 
other musicians thinking about this, having heard nothing outside the news 
about it.  Or is this a noaz noaz lips shut subject now?
