Fighting (electric) guitar pickup feedback

Hi,

This might be a bit OT, but maybe I can ask here since many of us use
guitars for looping? Anyway, I have some feedback problems with the
bridge position pick-up on a Telecaster guitar. It's the normal
single-coil Telecaster bridge pickup. Has anyone successfully fixed
this problem? How?

In the past I've feedback secured hollow-bodies by stuffing them with
clothing but none of my earlier Telecasters have been this
problematic. It's not such a priority that I would buy a new pick-up.
If I can't fix it I will keep on using the neck or both, because that
works. But it would be cool to have that nasal tellybridge sound
available as well ;-)
