Wow,
well that's not what I meant at all,
but it's great news.
Do let me know when you have something viable, and if you like I can 
publicize it on the Vortex site.

A vortex with a second expression pedal would also be nice ;-)

The "encoder problem" that I mentioned is rather more basic.
The rotary encoders on the Vortex (and Jamman etc) are prone to failure,
but exact replacements are not (afaik) available.
( Bob Sellon, the Jamman guy, has the same problem).
