[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Re: OT converting VHS to DVD live loop performance
If you want to own the converter and do your own video editing, then look at the Canopus line of products. I have their older ACEDvio PCI card which works well. They're around $300 now, but they have other standalone units that are less. Make sure it comes bundled with video editing software such as Adobe Premier or Vegas Video unless you already have your own editor. If you want high-definition, then you would need something like the Canopus ADVC HDM1, which run around $1500. If you just want an unedited transfer and don't expect to be doing this much in the future, then by far the cheapest route is to use a service. High-end camera shops can usually do this or know people who can. Jeff
