None of the preamps in the microtrack is suitable for 24bit recording.

Now, what exactly does the putative truth of this statement mean? Suitable? :)  Does this mean that the preamps can't pass through 24 bits of data? That would seem like poor marketing (actually mis-representation) on behalf of m-audio. Or does this it mean that the preamps just can't compare, inn terms of fidelity, frequency response, etc,  to the preamps of a high end recorder preamps (based on frequency analysis testing, etc)?
