Howdy,

 I have a homemade solid body madeout of hard maple,
much sustain, very heavy. I also have an ibanez iceman
one piece solid Korina. Light as a feather, but MORE
sustain than my HARD maple body DIY. WAY more. The
maple is good for trbly sounds, the Korina does trble
good but warm better. Go figure.
