Re: im about to start a war

IMO, there is POSITIVELY NO ADVANTAGE from an average to above average musician/dj/music related application stand point to using ether a PC or Mac unless you are talking strictly laptops. The hardware as is currently made available to the Mac Book Pro user is superior to any PC laptop that I am currently familiar with. This is strictly based on their capacity for RAM. (2gig PC - 4gig Mac)

Everything else you will hear here or on ANY forum is merely personal opinion based on limited experience.

Please note the first sentence of my post Matt. If you are an extremely advanced musician & looper with needs that are so specific and personalized that you have realized specific OS software incompatibility issues, yes there may be a truly better machine for your needs in YOUR future. Please, keep it in context for the sake of the person's REAL needs.

This is another absolute fact you should consider Matt. 2000.00 WILL buy you an optimized laptop PC with a seriously powerful processor and maxed 2gig of ram. Try doing that with a Mac.

There is no question that when it comes to non optimized & specialized COMMERCIAL laptops, Mac is the ONLY way to go. Enter Sonic Labs, Music XPC, Rain, etc into the debate & the Mac argument runs out the back door in a hurry unless you have unlimited money for which to spend.
