Re: RC-2 : First impressions / comparison RC-50

So first of all, I think Buzap should get hired by Roland to demo these pedals, not to mention be a consultant.  Not to say that I'm not entertained by Rico Loop.  : )

I also have both the RC-50 and RC-2.  I've found good use for both.  I am very interested in the new Boomerang, as I understand it will also have the sub-out/aux-out feature to send a loop only signal which the RC-50 has.  I've found that invaluable when working with other players...sending that signal to the drummer so they can lock into that alone.

You know what I like best about the RC-2?  The most basic, simple feature- How smooth is attack and release of the loop itself.  With the RC-2, I've found it seemless and much more efficient than the RC-50, and yes, I've done the upgrade.  I still like the Rc-50, but on some basic level, I don't have the confidence with that first loop that I have with the RC-2.  The action of the later is more like the Behringer midi pedal that I use with the Echoplex.

And, I have found the extra pedal to stop and erase to be very useful myself.

Again, Buzap, thanks for your detailed feedback.
