Really? Kenny G? Yikes. I'm talking about
instrumental contemporary jazz, folk/jazz fusion, melodic free-style, etc.
People just eat it up. Especially the instrumetal jazz. And I'm not
talking about kids either. Every single complement I received was from someone
in their late 30s to 60's. I guess people like to listen to this type of music
while they eat, drink wine, socialize, etc. It has no words to distract, but is
pleasing to the ear...also more interesting than most new age.

The popular, unquenchable taste
for vanilla, garden variety instrumental music is just mind
blowing.
What sort of music did you have in mind exactly? From my experience
instrumental music isn't very popular at all, unless you're referring to Kenny
G stuff or other muzak.
