Yes. But I use the C model Sustaniac. It's a mechanic device, not  
electro-magnetic. A mechanical clamper is put temporarily on the head  
stock. The analog output from the guitars output jack is amplified  
and drives that vibrating clamper so the vibrations go back into the  
wood of the neck and back into the strings. I don't think thickness  
of strings matter much in this pure mechanical process, which they do  
with electro-magnetic solution like the Stealth Sustainiac or the  
Fernandes sustainer. BTW I tested a friends strat with a Fernandes  
and found it very different in playing and sustaining action.

Only one loop all through. Making changes to that loop as you go.  
Only SUS Substitute work with no use of feedbck until the final outro  
of the song where it goes into classic feedback/overdub layering.
