Man,  Paul, you really sound bitter.

This kid  played bass guitar, rhythm guitar,  lead guitar,  lead organ, 
lead 
saxaphone,
sang well and even danced pretty decently................and he's 11 
fucking 
years young.

What could possibly be bad about that?     What could possibly be wrong 
with 
his parents supporting
him to the very best of their ability.   Why shouldn't his talent be 
supported?

Why do you make music, my friend?   What do you do that is so morally and 
aesthetically superior to
the obvious joy that this kid has for music?

Lighten up on this kid.   Jeez!
