Hi Eban Thanks also for your reply. I really appreciate it. I've seen jamman recommended a few times on other sites. I will go and check it out some more. As I replied to Kevin, a mixer is a really good idea (and one I should have thought of!). I think a mate of mine has a Behringer mixer - I'll have to go round and have a listen to it in action and look at the different models. I've been weighing up pro's and cons of buying second hand or new and will probably go for new.
