New here/been playing crazy stuff on the electric bass for about 30 years/grateful to be here.
After using hard floor controlled phrase samplers for the last 10 years or so, I have been attempting to move into the 21st via a soft flying saucer. Only problem, forget folding space and all that jazz. I might as well be folding dinner napkins cause me auto pilot's dial is currently set to ignoramus. My hope is to become adept and much less inept via my understanding of the midi controlled soft universe.
Currently I am using Ableton's LIVE 5.2.2 & Stylus RMX. Are there other PC soft loop programs that are recommended "here"?
My objectives are live performance oriented. The hardware I am hoping to incorporate into these performances are Bass/V Bass/Korg MS2000B/Boss RC-50/Laptop/Motu Traveler/Axiom 49 controller & midi foot controller/16 channel mixer.
No matter what my chops are like, I FULLY realize I know NOT. I have been just trying to "put it together" With your help, maybe I can...
