He was doing some of it live, accupello, on his audition. Are you sure he wasn't doing it himself?

I tell you one thing, he can scat like a mother f*cker, and any vocalist who can do that, loop, and not sound like some cheesy, stiff white guy trying to sound like a black vocliast has my vote. :)   Leslie Hunt's performance and scatting at the end of her tune made me cringe. Yucky, icky, stuff.
 
Though I still think the girls are kicking the guys asses on American Idol. Melinda's version of My Funny Valentine gave me the chills. That girl can really belt it out. 
 
Uh oh...did I just reveal that I'm a major AI fan?
