I know I'm joining late and this might have been mentioned somewhere else but there is an excellent article on the web that showed the evolution (or devolution) of music at the hand of compression and limiting. It followed the band RUSH through it's history and it was amazing to see the shape of the waveform go from a wonderful painting with shades of grey to a solid black stripe.... Here's to the spaces in the music.... Plish www.myspace.com/bohdanovich www.myspace.com/michaelplishka www.michaelplishka.com
