On the 2880 all tracks will be the same length, set by the first loop 
length. However, the mixdown track can run independantly of the 4 
main tracks, and if you alter the speed of the other 4 tracks, say by 
half speed, the mixdown track will still run at it's normal rate.

I wish that the mixdown track could have it's length set 
independently, so that  the live performance aspects available by 
using the pitch volume and pan knobs could be recorded over several 
cycles, but that's why we have computers, I guess.
