Thanks to all that reponded to my message, I think I sussed out that 
unfortunately I cant do what i needed... cos i need to send sysex and this 
is a hardware thang i have here, not software... and maybe its not for 
doing 
the same as a cc anyway... C'est la Vie... the GR 30 has been a trusty box 
for me for a while now, but i guess its nearing the end of its 
usefullness... cant get rid of it tho, what could replace the arpegiator???
