the 2880 has four faders for the tracks.
very convenient!
the hiccups with very short loops occurs with the 2880, too...so that's no decision-helper for you.
you should check out if the 2880's footswitch is available.
here in europe it has been hard to get for the last months.

I'm still contemplating..which way to go on this one.

Pricewise, the RC50 is cheaper, and already comes in a footboard type setup.
But I noticed the little hiccup after making the first loop when I tried it out at the store.

The 2880..gives me one more loop track to play with..

SOMEONE HELP ME TO DECIDE!!
