Using a mic w/stomp box loopers

Hello All,

I'm brand new to the list and have a question: what's the
best/cheapest way to use a microphone with a stomp-box type looper
(Line6 DL4)?  Specifically, what's the best way that doesn't require
power cords (battery powered, etc.)?
