Hi

Yes the current version of Ableton may be as much as the RC-50 but if you 
already have MAC hardware avaliable then I think you should sell the Boss 
pedal (maybe for less than you bought it for) and buy Ableton and a MIDI 
pedal board.  Your world of 'looping' will suddenly become vast and 
surpass 
anything the RC-50 can do
