Axel Rudich

Hi folks,
Just wanted to share this info for those who care,
knew or had work done by Axel Rudich.
Axel has passed away in a car accident
last friday.I recently got a mail from a acquaintance
of his wife who asked me 
to let those who knew him know.
He did some wonderful work on my fernandes sustainer
guitar and i
even planed on sending it again for RMC pickups
installation on it and other customized work
as well.I became aware of his health problems as my
order like perhaps some 
of yours was months delayed.After doing Adrian Belews
amazing new signature guitar which he presented at the
Namm Show last year,he informed me that because of his
problems he was closing his workshop and going back to
teaching. 
Although we never met personally we became good
friends and
talked hours on the telephone since we share some
common things like
being both latinamericans,interest in politics,passion
for music and guitars,etc.
This are devastating news,he was a true craftsman and
inovative specially with MIDI guitars doing remarkable
and impecable custom work.
I read that as Adrian Belew told Mr.Parker his vision
of a new crazy guitar Mr. Parker told Belew "there is
only one guy that ca realize this, Mr. Axel Rudich".
I also heard he was an accomplished Jazz
guitarrist,and a colum journalist
for guitar player.
He will be dearly missed by all of us who came in
contact with him as 
well as his wife and children.
