I have just started to explore using Ableton Live - There is an interesting technique explained on the Live forum at http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20174 I am using this with a Behringer FCB1010 pedal.... I would like to implement some form of track decay but that is proving difficult at the moment. I have only had Ableton for a week so it's a bit of a steep learning curve! If so, do you see any advantages of these software compared to, let's say, any looping tool mentioned on the LD site? best, roel
