This is correct for the first OS but with the first OS upgrade the Repeater received a functionality for doing exactly this. I.e. reacting to ONE midi cc command by changing TWO parameters (pitch and BPM tempo division). This does also work fine when the Repeater is tempo synchronized to a master clock, which also means that you can always realign the sync by setting this MIDI cc back to "0".
