I can't tell if you're serious about this or not. Are you just being  
facetious?

I'll go ahead and ask the dumb question, since no one else has. Why  
couldn't they release two different units--one that meets EU specs  
and another one that does not--and does not (presumably) need to?  
Shouldn't the latter unit be ready to go now, and wouldn't that end  
the speculation about whether or not a mk2 will ever see the light of  
day?
