rc50 plus 2880

So , the dream setup would be the 2880 hooked up to a rc50 ?
Will the 2880 slave ok to an odd meter loop midi signal from the RC 50 ?
odd meters and differents lenghts of bars from rc 50 and instantly
reverse mix , pan in 2880?
sounds good .
thanks
ramiro
