In this case its two lines into one line for the inputs into the EDP,
Filter and Amp, each of which have only one input.

Something like this:

in-----+
         |----out
in-----+

When I've done this in the past if I'm on one of the "in" lines and
the other "in" line has less resistance than the "out" line, there's
a huge drop in signal in the out line. Not sure what to due about
that really. Would a couple of resistors on the ins take care of the
problem?

Thanks,
