Re: Line6 Echo Park

As suggested, I've just given my (new) Echo Park a good A/B test against
my
(old) DL4 - testing for noise and quality differences.

In terms of quality - I mainly use it on the flute and sometimes wind
synth
sounds, I have found the quality completely comparable with the DL4
(although I've only had it a week though).

In terms of noise though, far from the EP being noisier, the DL4 was
slightly noisier in terms of S/N (hiss/etc. but the DL4 also had an
element
of 50HZ in the output which the EP didn't.

My test was running both pedals from power supplies and the mixer channel
gain up full.

So, for me, the Echo Park clearly isn't a replacement in any way for the
DL4, but as another good versitile delay pedal I'm pleased with it.
