I have a song on my first album that is an instrumental that goes back and 
forth between 3/4 + 4/4 (or 7/8), and 6/8.  The band could not figure it 
out until I made up nonsense words to sing to it:

"I'm going to the store with my dog
I'm going to the store with my puppy doggie
My puppy doggie
my puppy doggie
he is a really spiffy doggie"
