I haven't actually tried this on my EDP, but the manual
on 4-52 suggests that Multiply during the quantize period
will perform an unconditional SoundCopy when the switch
takes place.  It includes this caution:

    "Caution: LoopCopy erases the the existing contents
      of the next loop!"
