Re: LD CD Vol.3 project

I've missed the first two releases, so I am curious about how all
this works. Is this a CD available for general release and
distribution as a commercial (albeit very small commercial) venture?
Or is it a convenient "in house" way for all of us to get to know
each other outside of posted mp3s? The reason I ask is that I did a
series of releases (starting with cassettes before CDs were able to
be made by mere mortals) for The Bottom Line, a bass players' mailing
list. Each submitter got charged a small discount from the for sale
price (ranged from $6-8 depending on the format, etc) and it was
advertised on TBL. I did all the assembly and mastering myself and
broke even financially and probably lost money when my time was
factored in. However, there were several TBL'ers who became
apoplectic at the idea that they were being charged for the privilege
of being included, even though it meant they got heard by the anyone
who purchased it and the purchase price did include their own copy.
For the LD release, what does the $125 go to and is there an
expectation of profit at some point?

Lastly, where can I get copies of the first two releases?

PS Is there anyone in DenBo who might be interested in sharing a show?
