Only because it's big and slow.
(not a problem for what it's designed for)

I tried the Pro Tools Free last year, and noticed the higher latency.
The thing I really didn't like was not being able to work with stereo 
files.

All the sound and midi interfaces on the pc are available to be dropped 
onto the
Plogue workspace.

Unless for some reason MBox is only usable from Pro Tools
it should work with Plogue
