Re: asynchronous loops and the DD-20

Gary,

It has a "reverse mode" that works a lot like the same
feature on BOSS's other small delay pedals. In other
words, there is no way to take an existing loop and flip it
around backwards as in the EDP (or some other devices).

>Can you overdub in reverse?

With feedback set high you can add more material to an
already backwards-running loop. That new material will
also run backwards and there will be a significant lag-time
before you actually hear it (depending on the delay length
setting).

Say if you have the delay set to the max of 23 seconds
it will be 23 seconds before you hear any newly-played
backwards stuff come back at you -- this can be kind
of awkward as I believe the "reverse mode" is permanently
set at the factory to run at 100% wet effect. Another
unfortunate limitation.

>How about 1/2 speed?

No. It doesn't do that at all.
