I wanted to point out that I swear by Performer for recording. i've
used all the major sequencers at one point or another (i started out on
an ST with Notator SL ... i looked forward to Logic. even coming from
the ST i could not understand it), and I find myself getting the most
amount of work done with Digital Performer. Mark of the Unicorn puts
out quality products all round. Performer took the least amount of time
to learn for me.

they're also the slowest to implement features. i feel it's because
they try very hard to make a stable codebase, not because of laziness.
