EDP malfunction - software problem?
working fine yesterday and this afternoon, one of my slave EDPs goes bonkers. stops responding to midi commands, won't respond to front panel PARAMETER press, resets itself from 4 loops to one loop, reads "198" but every once in a while after powering down and up, i get something like "tttttttt" or "7777777". if i hold PARAMETER down while powering up, i can stay in parameters for about 5 seconds before the unit reverts to displaying "198" and just plain refusing to cooperate.
please tell me this is a simple matter of replacing the eeproms...it's awful timing for sending it to shane as i've got a handful of gigs coming up very soon.
