RE: MIDI throwdown

Title: RE: MIDI throwdown

You say:
"One of the best things about MIDI is that you can use continuous controllers to modify events and effects in real time. "

But all I hear is:
"Gibberish gibberish gibberish gibberish gibberish gibberish gibberish gibberish gibberish gibberish."

I have no idea what that means to me.

One of the best things about MIDI is that you can use continuous controllers to modify events and effects in real time.  If you already have this in your

(non-MIDI) interface, I can understand why you might not jump in feet first :&}  But the best thing about MY pedal (a PMC-10) is that you can send multiply commands to multiple units--as large a string as you want.  Gatta admit that makes dancing more elegant. By the way, what if you drink at a gig and try to do the footswitch boogie? Can't you hurt yourself that way?  Anybody here ever take a tumble in the line of duty? In other news, I KNEW it was aliens! Gary
