I've heard that the midi sync is a little sporadic from one friend... 
however, if you are looking for a stand alone device, and midi sync is 
not so important to you, then it is a great unit. Balanced 
inputs/outputs, 60 seconds looping.....

I think that it would be very good to layer up drones like you can do 
with the DL4....

I'd get one if I had the money :)
