Hi James,

I'm not using a Boomerag, but have had really good results using loopers in
the Effects loop on my Ashdown amps - it's got a solid state power amp, and
tube front end, so you can get it a little bit grindy if you want, but any
effects/looping is as clean as you like...

At the moment I'm using an Ashdown ABM-500 head, MINI48 4x8 cab and MINI10t
1x10 cab, with two EDPs and a Lexicon MPX-G2 in the effects loop... It 
rocks
my world... :o)
