RE: trace elliot road 160 head

The characteristics & specs resembles a lot the G-PA160s I have, a
dual-space rackmount solid-state reactor power stage 2x80W for guitar.
clear indeed, as little coloring (in my estimation) as I've been able to
find. And indeed can be dangerously loud - I'm constantly fishing for the
right level setting in the very low end of the range of the level pots.

I think Trace Elliot only made a brief foray into this type of equipment
before finding its niche again w/ bass & acoustic amplification? Pity, I'm
extremely fond of it, have been for the 10-odd years I've owned it. At the
time, I chose it over the Marshall Valvestate for a more all-round and
versatile sound.
